“Do good anyway”

Romas 12: 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Back in 2018 in my first semester of the second year, I had a roommate named Elizabeth I love her with a pure heart and trust her too, so I went with her for my winter ministry in Bhagwanpur, she was not a healthy girl and she was sick now and then, I used to stay with her in the hospital and take care of her as much as I could, but it was after winter vacation on  13 Jan 2019, she didn’t come back to college, nobody knew the well about her, I was so worried, her mobile was out of coverage area, she didn’t give any information to the college she came back to college after 3 days, when the college inquired about it and I encounter her as I knew the reason why she was late, she told me I told her to do all those bad things.

It hurt me so badly, I asked how could she do this to me, as I look back everything she told me was a lie, I even sacrificed what I like, so that I can buy something for her.

The next day nothing goes in my brain, I was so sad, I could not tell anyone because I don’t want her to have a bad name. Finally, I make the decision to forgive and forget, because God convicted me that I’m not better, I also make many mistakes, yet God forgives me time and again, Jesus forgives and prayed for those who crucified him. So who am I not to forgive. So I prayed for her and bless her, till this day I am happy that I do everything I could for her and return the evil into good, I do it anyway.

“Faithful Lord”

Lamentations 3:22-23 The Lord’s loving-kindness never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your Faithfulness.

It was 1/4/2019 one of the scariest days of my life, the 3rd day of the 2nd semester I have a Pentateuch exam with Hebrew preliminary as I cannot clear it on the 1st semester due to some incident, I was nervous. Studied as much as I could, woke up early, and ask God to help me, give me clarity of mind and most of all may your presence be with me, may this exam be worship unto you.

I ate bread with gem and went for an exam, I could recollect all that I had learned and wrote it well within 2 hours, then I was preparing for the next exam, as I do a revision of what I studied, I was so sleepy at the same time hungry. To my surprise Shiphra didi came and brought me tiffin (Fried bread with myonese topping), I can’t even imagine in my wildest dream. God indeed knew what I need, He supply me with all I need, to speak the truth  He gave me more than what I asked….I thank God there itself for surrounding me with such beautiful souls, through the love and support of my friends God taught me how to love others more.

Once again, I could see it clearly, how faithful He is to me, with awe! All I am left to say is “I LOVE You LORD” My dear look at how He has been so faithful to you today, I am sure this wonderful word will come out of your mouth “ I LOVE You, LORD”. Great is His Faithfulness, they are new every morning.

“He gave you more than you asked, He protects you from battles you don’t even know about…who on earth can be faithful like our LORD.”- Nei

“Judge not”

Matthew 7:1, 2 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

As Diana update her Whatsapp status, the picture of Prince Harry and Megan’s family, written in it that “the man I admire, who left all his wealth, fame, position, etc. For his little family, I can’t believe in today’s world a man like him still exists.” Henry commented on it Harry is a man who listens to his wife (wife boy), and Jeremy too commented on it remove your status people will think you are crazy, you are appreciating Harry but Megan is a characterless woman, she tore apart a royal family and gave a bad name to them. Seeing all these views people had on Megan, Diana was shocked, how people easily judged others, had they been in the royal household which make them say this? No. Had they ever met Megan? Did they ever spend time with them? No. Then how can they judge Megan’s character….we only see what is in the news and what is out, but do we even take a second before we Judged others on the other side of the story, not everything we hear, see is true…if Harry who is a prince, well intellect with one of the best education took his own decision, I believed he knows what he does….sometimes the reality is totally different from what we see. We don’t know what is happening behind the closed doors.

This is our society even in today’s world, we love to judge others, and everything which is happening in the royal family is said and think that it is all because of Harry characterless wife Megan. But my dear I just want to tell you that we need to really grow up, let’s ask Jesus to help us like he sees and listen like him. If today Jesus has to Judge us in everything we do, will he call us characterless….in spite of our faults and flaws, he covered all our sins and forgive us again and again, he pray for us continually to FATHER, but then, the Bible also told us do not judge or you too will be judge, in the same way, you judge others.

“Never judge others for what our eyes see, ears hear and the so called reality is not always true, we never know what someone is going through behind closed doors. – Nei
